Due Date just keeps sounding better and better as the days go by. We were interested when it was just Zach Galifianakis reteaming with Todd Phillips and recapturing some of that Hangover magic. We were pumped when Robert Downey Jr. and Michelle Monaghan signed up, bringing the chemistry from Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, and now we’re beyond excited that Jamie Foxx has joined the cast. Sherlock Holmes Sequel Already On The Way… With Brad Pitt?

Guy Ritchie and Robert Downey Jr.’s take on Sherlock Holmes hasn’t even hit theaters yet but Warner Bros. is already gearing up for a sequel. According to Variety, the writing duo of Kieran and Michele Mulroney (Paper Man) have been tapped to work on a second film based on Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s classic character. Guy Ritchie To Direct ‘Lobo’ Movie

Guy Ritchie still putting the finishing touches on Sherlock Holmes with Robert Downey Jr., has been tapped to direct the movie version of D.C.’s comic Lobo. Joel Silver, Akiva Goldsman and Andrew Rona will produce the project which is expected to begin shooting next year according to Variety.

Robert Downey Jr. and Jon Favreau Play Cowboys and Aliens

After having so much fun together working on Iron Man and its sequel Jon Favreau has apparently joined Robert Downey Jr. on an adaptation of Cowboys and Aliens. According to the new blog at The Hollywood Reporter, the director has joined the Dreamworks/Universal project which RDJ has been attached to for over a year. Unfortunately, because I live in New Jersey, making it out to San Diego for Comic Con wasn’t really an option, but it can no doubt be said that some of the coolest movie news comes out of Hall H in the span of a weekend than comes out in some months.
