A-Team Casting News and Van Photos

Last week we reported that the final puzzle pieces for The A-Team were being put in place as Sharlto Copley was stepping into the roles of Howling Mad Murdock and Jessica Biel would be playing Faceman’s (Bradley Coopers) ex-lover and a general that is pursuing the team. Now that the dust has settled and those two have been officially signed, a new name has entered the cast list and some new photos of the team’s famous van have popped up online.

Wilson, Paige and Tyler Joins Gunn’s “Super”

Writer/director James Gunn hasn’t done work on a feature since 2006 with his underappreciated sci-fi horro Slither, but he is now hopping back in the directors seat for Super, a film “taking aim at the Superhero genre,” according to Variety. Normally, this would have my blood boiling, but seeing as the names “Jason Friedberg nor “Aaron Seltzer” appear anywhere in the article, it may actually be tolerable. Harry Potter Extended Editions On The Way

Get ready for even more Harry Potter on your DVD. Despite it’s widespread popularity, the Harry Potter franchise like any film adaptation, has been criticized for its choices of which scenes it takes out. Watch It!: I’m a Marvel…and I’m a DC: Deadpool and Green Lantern

Deadpool vs. Green Lantern

To celebrate yesterday’s egregious amount of comic-book film news, today’s Watch It! is about…comic book films. Taking a page out of Robot Chicken’s handbook, YouTube user “It’sJustSomeRandomGuy” has used what must be the world’s greatest action figure collection to create the “I’m a Marvel…and I’m a DC” video series, parodying both the “I’m a Mac and I’m a PC” commercials starring Justin Long as well as whatever is happening in the comic book universe.

The most recent video features Deadpool and Green Lantern discussing upcoming solo films – both of which are supposed to star Ryan Reynolds.
