The Perfect Top Three Cast in Let The Right One In Remake

2 10 2009

smit-mcphee - Jenkins - Moretz

Let me start this article by saying that I am not in favor of remaking Let The Right One In, the Swedish film considered by just about everyone to be the best horror film of last year. Whether I like it or not, Matt Reeves will be directing the film in English and it will come out in January of next year. All that aside, they couldn’t have picked a better top three for the billing. Wilson, Paige and Tyler Joins Gunn’s “Super”

11 09 2009

Super

Writer/director James Gunn hasn’t done work on a feature since 2006 with his underappreciated sci-fi horro Slither, but he is now hopping back in the directors seat for Super, a film “taking aim at the Superhero genre,” according to Variety. Normally, this would have my blood boiling, but seeing as the names “Jason Friedberg nor “Aaron Seltzer” appear anywhere in the article, it may actually be tolerable. One of last summer’s surprise hits Wanted, based on Mark Millar (Kick-Ass) and J.G. Jones’ comic, may be getting back a fox. Director Timur Bekmambetov has made no secret of the fact that he wants Angelina Jolie back as her character Fox in the sequel to Wanted. Iron Man 2 Comic Con Reel

10 08 2009

Iron Man 2 bootleg

It certainly is a comic-book day.

I got in a bit of hot water last time I hosted some bootleg stuff from Comic-Con, but this time, instead of hosting, I’ll just share the love. Just as someone did for the Kick-Ass clips, somebody brought a camcorder to the Iron Man 2 panel and managed to get all of the footage that was shown (it was just a matter of time as to when this would show up). We probably aren’t that far off from seeing a teaser trailer, but if you are like me, you simply cannot wait any longer. Hit the jump to see five and a half minutes of glory from the highly anticipated film. The video isn’t great but you can tell what things are and hear most of what is said. And yes, that is War Machine  firing like a maniac at the end of the clip.

You didn’t get this from me. Read the rest of this entry »
